Cayote Coffee started the way most good things do, out of curiosity, a little frustration, and unintentionally.

During college, I spent years working in coffee shops. early mornings, busy rushes, and a lot of lattes. Somewhere in the middle of all that, I started paying closer attention to what I was putting into the drinks I made (and drank every single day).

It was the syrups that got me.

They were full of artificial flavors, dyes, and preservatives, stuff that didn’t really match the feeling of a simple, good cup of coffee. And once I noticed it, I couldn’t un-notice it.

So I started messing around in my own kitchen. Trying things out. Keeping it simple. Using real ingredients and seeing how good something could actually taste without all the extra stuff.

Somewhere between the trial-and-error batches and handing bottles off to friends and family, this little idea started to feel like something bigger.

Cayote Coffee grew from a place of love for good drinks, real ingredients, and creating something that feels a little more honest.

No weird stuff. No shortcuts. Just really good coffee, made the way it should be.
